I don't think you guys have any idea of the kind of backlash I got from writing that blog post! Since then I've lived through some pretty big decisions that have scared the shit out of me at times. Having your financial stability rocked and at times even turned upside down can seriously turn you into the woman you need to be in order to succeed. But it ain't pretty.

Every now and then a contemporary piece of furniture comes along that blows my love for vintage out of the water. Amy Somerville's designs did just that. I stumbled across Amy's pieces with the help of the loveliness that is google. Looking for a 'green armchair' to perfectly encapsulate a rich jewel green of a mallard's head (yep you heard right) when creating a colour scheme inspired by the bird, I came across the image of her Minx Chair.
