GIVING MUM'S SMALL PATIO GARDEN A BRIGHT NEW LOOK
Alright peeps! So first up I should tell you that this post is part of a wicked little UK Home blog Hop that Kimberley from Swoon Worthy has organised where a whole bunch of us UK interiors blogger are sharing our new summer decor projects.
Welcome to anyone who is joining me from Candy Pop! If you don't know me then you should know that I'm big on statement pieces, so that means colour, eclectic combinations, lots of geometric pattern.. oh and I looove Art Deco!
I have a 2 bed Art Deco flat in Croydon with my hubby Jason and 4 yr old daughter, Marley. We like rap music, a lot. well Jason and I do, Marley likes to listen to the Moana soundtrack ALL THE TIME.
I also swear a lot and am considered to be 'ballsy' with my decor! If that sounds up your street then come on in...
I know that a lot of you are based in cities and like me, you probably don't have much, or any outdoor space.
I have a shared garden with the rest of the tenants in my block but it's not the best to be honest. So when I come over to my mums to work in my new office (whhaaaat you have't seen it yet? Click here!) I love taking my lunchbreaks in her little patio garden.
Recently, a brand got in touch to see if I wanted to work with them on showcasing their outdoor range. I thought this would be a great chance to give mum's garden a bit of an update and try to convince her into adding some COLOUR!
When I was sent the product images of the outdoor sets I'd have to choose from I fell in love with this cute hot pink and orange set. And the price? £89!
But wait... what's even more surprising is the brand. You'll never guess it would make this.
You'll have to give it a little click HERE to find out who it is ;)
I mean look at this rose gold cutlery set. Guess how much? £20! SERIOUSLY! They even have matte black for £20 too. Perfect for adding a bit of sophistication to a dinner party or barbecue without breaking the bank.
Here's the full rundown of the pieces I picked.
The rest of the pieces were chosen in store! So that's the orange cactus ornament, the drinks dispenser plus the plates and tumblers.
They have a much bigger selection in store than online for their outdoor range so it's well worth a little visit. You might even find these cool toucan tumblers too :)
I think this set has really picked out the colours of the flowerbed and given the garden a new fresh look. What do you think?
Now if you've liked this post then listen up, because this blog hop is full of other wicked bloggers sharing their summer decor projects.
Want to see more? Of course you do! Head over to Design Soda to continue your foray into summer style. Because when summer is finally here in the UK you just have to INDULGE, INDULGE, INDULGE! Right?!
