That thing you just love doing, find super fun, can't stop thinking about...Well yeah, you can make that your job. Seriously!

Want to make a living talking about things you love?

Or even shortcut into a new career in an industry that you have no experience?

Blogging is the answer. How do I know? I did it!

Two years ago I was working in an office job. I was stressed and creatively unfulfilled. I was sick of helping other people to create their vision whilst leaving mine on the back burner. I got ill all the time, I was tired, I would cry when I got home from work and I hardly ever saw my daughter or husband. When I was with them my mind was elsewhere because I was under so much pressure at work.

Sound familiar?!

I had a huge passion for interiors and design and would daydream about working in that industry. My problem was, aside from decorating my own flat I had ZERO experience and ZERO contacts in that industry. Then I thought, screw it. I'm gonna start a blog and show off my eye for style and it'll somehow get me work in the industry. You might think that sounds naive, but I was about ready to try anything.

Luckily, it worked. 2 years later, with 2 major blogging awards under my belt, I've left my office job and I'm a full time blogger. MAD!

Through my blog I've been fortunate enough to work with brands and companies that I admire all the time, reviewing products or writing great content to help them reach my audience. I've gotten to travel to amazing cities, eating at the best restaurants and being treated like a VIP! I don't say these things because that's why I got into blogging, it's just an amazing part of my incredible job.

More importantly, I get to work from home and create my own schedule. I still work my ass off but at least it's for something I'm building on my own. It's for my future and my family. I spend so much more time with my family and they also get to enjoy the benefits of me being a blogger - though my husband gets a bit fed up of taking cheesy pictures of me sometimes! Ha!

I've been featured in the biggest UK newspapers and I'm now a regular contributor for one too. I've even appeared on two major TV shows for Channel 4!

I'm getting to realise all of my creative ideas. I'm building MY brand and MY vision, not someone else's.

I'm not saying that every single person who starts a blog will become a full time blogger, and that may not even be what you want. Perhaps you just want a place to express your creative ideas and indulge your passion, or perhaps you want a little bit of extra income on the side, or to grow your profile in order to bring more attention to your business. It's all possible.

If you work smart and put in place the RIGHT strategies early on, you can cut down the time that it would take you to get to my position (and just for the record, I've only been doing this for 2 years).
