Every now and then a contemporary piece of furniture comes along that blows my love for vintage out of the water. Amy Somerville's designs did just that. I stumbled across Amy's pieces with the help of the loveliness that is google. Looking for a 'green armchair' to perfectly encapsulate a rich jewel green of a mallard's head (yep you heard right) when creating a colour scheme inspired by the bird, I came across the image of her Minx Chair.

A few seasons back on Keeping Up With The Kardashians or KUWTK for us die hard fans, something happened. The fam moved on up out of their humble (ish) beginnings and into a snazzy new mansion. Gone were the tacky gold curtains and beige, beige, beige, and in came style, sophistication and class. Khloe, Kourtney and Kris seemed to have a universal style theme running between all of their homes and boy I liked it. Apparantly Kris even loves monochrome so much thats he has black toilet paper. I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE.
