It's the ten year anniversary of Lee Broom this year, and to celebrate Broom presented his iconic designs on a slowly rotating carousel in a disused railway arch in Ventura Projects near Centrale Station. It was pretty epic!Read More
Stone Age folk was the name of the installation, and it involved typical Jaime Hayon trademarks of playful clown faces and tribal shapes alongside carousels made of Caesarstone.Read More
Great design constantly finds weird and unusual ways to awe and inspire you. That's exactly why this blog post is going to be talking about both lizards and new nike trainer technology in the same breath. Standard.Read More
Our pop art style cow canvas has become synonymous with our living room. So much so that I'm now completely over it. We needed an update to our room and I'd had an idea that could either go completely Essex tacky or could actually end up looking pretty awesome. I'm pleased to say it was the latter!Read More
So I have a confession to make.. somehow in all of the goings on I completely forgot to share the reveal of this finished room! That's right, even though it's June this project was actually finished months ago. EEEEK! Anyway, better late than never right?!

A couple of weeks ago I was invited over to Westfield in Stratford to check out a brand new, cool indie eyewear brand that I had discovered on instagram to pick out some new hipster glasses, ahem, I mean specs. Exciting!Read More
Our kitchen is such a state. It actually pains me when I go in there. It pains me even more to cook in there. As you can see in this earlier blog post, we did do a little bit of updating when we moved in, but more of a 'let's just make it liveable enough that I don't have a breakdown every time I enter the room' rather than 'WOW HERE'S OUR SHINY NEW KITCHEN'. It was so bad that we didn't even have a blind up in there. All my little 5.30am half-asleep half-naked wonders to go and get Marley milk were clearly being experienced by the people in the flats opposite too. Oops! So when Apollo Blinds got in touch recently and asked if I fancied designing my own blind to be printed using their high spec digital technology, I think the answer was a resounding yes.Read More
If you follow me on social media you'll probably have seen that since the late summer of last year I have been working alongside the 2 Lovely Gays, and interior Design duo from South London. You may recognise Jordan - he was the runner up of the Great Interior Design Challenge first series. After enjoying their aesthetic throughout the series I started following them online and then realised they had bought a Forest Hill property that they were in the process of renovating. Every week I was seeing new discoveries of their Victorian property popping up - a vintage wedding dress, crumbling walls and rolls of wallpaper from the 50s. To some people this might sound like a nightmare - to me it was beautiful, and I wanted to volunteer my time to get involved with helping them renovate.
Fast forward a few months and I've been lucky enough to be privvy to the design and launch of their first bed linen collection with Secret Linen Store. It's been worth keeping secret! Read on to see what we got up to at their secret slumber party launch...Read More
I just discovered something amazing, and I have to share it. As if the 60s midcentury modern vibes of sun-soaked Palm Springs wasn't enough on its own, I recently found out via Instagram that they also play host to a little something that's run every February called Modernism Week, and it's blowing my frickin' mind.Read More
So the London Design Festival 2015 has come to a close. In between working on a three week shoot for M&S I've done my best to hit the evening events and shows on the weekend. DECOREX is something I always try to make - it's sheer interiors porn. I can't really afford any of it but it's so luxurious and aspirational that it just needs to be done. Instead of sharing every tiny thing I've picked out my top 10 products that I think you guys will like. Get ready for the good shizz!Read More
