LONDON DESIGN WEEK: DESIGN JUNCTION PICS
Guys, you really have to excuse my shoddy posting schedule at the moment. I've been on a retreat this past weekend (more on that to come) and have just started a 2 week shoot PLUS trying to cram in blogging, my other freelance clients, oh and being a mummy, of course :)
I know that some of you may not have had the chance to get over to any of the London Design Week shows so I wanted to share all of my snaps so that you can get a good idea of what was on show and the different vibes at each exhibition. Today... New Oxford street's Design Junction!
Design Junction was definitely the trendiest of the shows that I went to, and probably the biggest. Lots and lots of lighting and a strong retro theme in furniture. No complaints there! It really was almost all lighting, but still fun and interesting nonetheless. The ground floor was a huge marketplace full of new designers selling bits and bobs, from artwork to notebooks and jewellery. I spent a lot of time there and picked out some great gifts for my friends. There was also a Tom Dixon outlet popup store... nice!
The lower floor was (more) lighting, and the top two floors were more and more and more furniture, upholstery and homewares.

So what do you think, will you try to go along next year now you've seen the pics?
