If you watched the first episode of Kirstie's handmade christmas this year then you will see I took part in the annual christmas tree decorating competition, which was a huge honour and something that was so fun and exciting to do! Of course I wanted to be rebellious and buck the traditional tree, so I bring the world my punk barbie christmas tree and the #alternativexmas...Read More
The objects we come into contact with depending on our profession varies massively from person to person. I think there's something quite cool in the fact that you can be shown an image of the objects people use day to day for work and it correctly inform you as to what they do for a living. I took to facebook to ask people of differing jobs what seemingly mundane objects they came into contact with each day and put together a photo story based in their info with the very talented photographer Dan Annett (check out his American autos projects, so cool).
Here's a bit behind the scenes on the day and the finished images. See if you can work out which belongs to each profession...Read More
Hey! I'm really excited to share this with you. Recently I was asked by Dwell to go into their brand new store in New Malden and style some areas for display whilst at the same time getting some fab images. I've been trying to build up my styling portfolio over the last few weeks, so of course I was really up for it and called in the awesome Kristy Noble to shoot it all for the blog.
I thought you might be interested in a little behind the scenes look at how I went about prepping and styling the shots, so read on!Read More
Every year, Dulux release their 'colour of the year' which quickly goes on to become a colour trend staple in the interiors world. Last year's was the infamous 'Copper Blush'. I hadn't realised but seriously, a LOT has happened in a year.

Recently, my inbox has been full to the brim of people who are looking at how to make a career as an interior stylist. It's actually pretty funny that I'm writing this post, because I myself am a total newbie to this industry and to interior styling, so I feel like a bit of a fraud writing this, but when I was sharing this information with people they seemed to really get something from it, so I wanted to share some really key moves that definitely shortcut my path to success...Read More

It's 8.11am, and I'm meant to be on set at 9am. OMGGGGGGG I am about to cry. This is my big chance and I've fucking blown it. If you know me you will know how much I hate to be late. Was there any point in me going? Surely I've messed this up before I've even got there.Read More
