You guys know I love getting creative and one of my favourite things to do is create colourful statement imagery. It's even better when I get to collaborate with a really cool company who want to let me do my thing and showcase their products in a way that I think you will love. So here's my still life story of a selection of colours from the Crown Paint Feature wall range. The range is all about being bold and making a statement so of course this was right up my street!Read More
The end of last year was pretty mental for me. I landed 3 of the biggest styling jobs of my life! I get asked a lot about how these kind of jobs come about and what it's like working on set so I thought I'd share with you the whole process of styling the Very Home SS17 collection from start to finish...Read More
Scandi stuff is like, everywhere at the moment. I can't quite get down with that minimalism just yet. However, what I can get down with is really well made and great looking affordable stuff for our homes. Desenio deliver just that AAAAND *gasp* Scandi style posters that I'm actually pretty impressed with.
But could I make them work in my eclectic style flat?Read More

Confession. I know I'm an interiors blogger but I've never actually put up a shelf. I've watched many times over as my hubby Jason does various bits of drilling into walls and levelling up shelves only to watch said shelves drop out of the wall because the plaster wasn't strong enough to hold it. I once recall being well excited that we had managed to put up our new circular shower curtain rail so that I could finally shower without spraying the entire bathroom with water only to have it slowly collapse on me, mid shower, mid shampoo. Almost more frustrating than when the boiler light decides to go out mid shower. Almost. Anyway...Read More
When I won best newcomer at the Amara Interior Blogging awards a couple of years back (umm just a bit of bigging up of myself there) we had a Culti room spray in our winner's bag. One spritz and I was OBSESSED. In my opinion, Culti fragrances are some of the best on the market. I wanted to share with you how beautiful these fragrances are because trust me, you are missing out if you haven't at least tried them. Everyone I show them to loves them!Read More
What's up! Today I'm pleased to be bringing you the last of my #swifthomehacks how to videos. In this one I'm talking all about how to style any flat surface, so that could be a coffee table, sideboard or shelf, in under 5 minutes using just a few objects.Read More
I love creating imagery. Everything from the pieces used to the lighting the the photo itself. Yea I'm an interior stylist but I'm really delving more and more into the world of photography and overall creative direction too, so I love when I get asked by brands to use their own products and create whatever I fancy. Who wouldn't?! I recently worked with furniture and homewares company Lee Longlands to style and shoot some images for their instagram feed, something which is becoming more and more popular as social media rises up and influences our shopping habits! Here's a little look at the pics I created.Read More
The objects we come into contact with depending on our profession varies massively from person to person. I think there's something quite cool in the fact that you can be shown an image of the objects people use day to day for work and it correctly inform you as to what they do for a living. I took to facebook to ask people of differing jobs what seemingly mundane objects they came into contact with each day and put together a photo story based in their info with the very talented photographer Dan Annett (check out his American autos projects, so cool).
Here's a bit behind the scenes on the day and the finished images. See if you can work out which belongs to each profession...Read More
