I remember the first time I met Anna and Lydia, founders of Tiba + Marl. Back then, it hadn't actually launched. It was an idea that was in the pipeline. I spoke at a Mothers Meeting event and remember them showing me a really cool prototype of a rucksack after the session. They said 'this is a baby change bag', and I remember thinking (and saying) 'fuck, girls, you have got something amazing here.Read More

Hey guys! So I'm back from Stockholm. I had such a great time! It wasn't particularly relaxing (6 adults and 5 kids means it was hectic) but it was super fun and I got to explore the beautiful city a bit. Pics to come...

I came across The Highboy by accident on Instagram. What struck me straight away was their brilliant tone of voice, brand personality and style. Their bio read:
'... will change the way you think bout Antiques and Fine art. It's kind of a big deal.'

I came across Molly's art when I received a mailout, intended for my predecessor at my new workplace. It was from DegreeArt.com, and something caught my eye. The piece was called 'Blue March'. An abstract electric blue background with almost photocopier looking cut out printwork over the top. I had to know who this artist was! After viewing her full collection with DegreeArt, I was hooked. Her chosen colour palette and abstract shapes really spoke to me. I tracked down the lady herself to find out more about what inspired her bold, abstract pieces.Read More

I went along to talk to first time buyer and visual merchandiser Emma, who showed me around her bright, airy, retro influenced flat she shares with her boyfriend. She shared her unconventional first time buyer story and we talked about what they had to do to modernise the flat when moving in and how she used youtube videos to learn how to update her kitchen on a budget.Read More
I follow a lot of antiques heads on twitter and randomly came across Elizabeth Fell. Elizabeth interested me as she wan't a dealer, but rather an advisor and buyer to private clients, something I'm very interested in myself. Last week I headed over to Battersea Park to meet with Elizabeth at the antiques and textiles decorative fair to have a cup of tea and pick her brains about the life of an antiques buyer!Read More
